burmatex is a BS EN ISO 9001:2000 registered company (Cert. No. FM1440) with a dedicated technical department.

Our Technical Manager, Andrew Copley, is currently engaged on committees, developing new testing standards within CEN (the European Standards Agency) and BSI (British Standards Institute) for the floorcoverings industry. He is an authority on the health, safety and energy-saving requirements relating to the floorcoverings industry. He currently represents us on the Manufacturers Committee at the CFA (Contract Flooring Association).

All burmatex products are tested to BSI/CEN standards in relation to Durability, Wear, Flame Retardancy, Antistatic Properties and Colourfastness.
