lateral steals the show at domotex
burmatex’s groundbreaking new ‘structure bonded’ product, lateral®, proved a real hit when it was showcased to thousands of visitors at Domotex in January.
The innovative new product was revealed for the first time at the world trade fair for carpets and floorcovering held in Hannover, Germany, which attracted the largest crowds in its sixteen-year history with almost 50,000 professionals in attendance*.
lateral®’s distinctive design was shown off to its full potential, laid in a striking arrangement of co-ordinating and contrasting colours, on burmatex’s contemporary designed exhibition stand – and proved to be one of the exhibition’s biggest crowd pullers.
The newest burmatex product launch has pushed back the boundaries of the carpet manufacturing process and created an unusual linear design carpet which can readily create eye-catching yet practical and durable flooring solutions.
burmatex’s marketing manager, Claire Hessey, said: “We knew that lateral® would be a big hit, due to the unique technology involved and its attractive aesthetics, but we were still surprised at the sheer volume of visitors it attracted to our stand. All in all, the event was a great success for us, and we will be looking forward to exhibiting at Domotex again in 2007.”
