burmatex’s commitment to innovative product development has received a further boost in the shape of a major investment to upgrade its design facilities and provide a new dedicated design studio and showroom.

‘The Studio’ now provides a custom-designed facility at the Ossett site where the creative team can let their ideas flow as well as an area where customers are able to tap into burmatex’s bespoke design and creative services.

Since its corporate image re-brand, the leading contract carpet manufacturer has placed an increased emphasis on innovation both in terms of new product development and keeping existing ranges fresh and contemporary.

The new design studio will now be the focus for the creative team to work on the development of new ranges and interpreting client briefs. Architects, designers and specifiers will also be able to utilise burmatex’s design specialists to create tailored flooring designs and solutions - including the production of ‘mood boards’ to illustrate how the burmatex ranges can fit into and enhance their wider design scheme.
