Leading contract carpet manufacturer, burmatex, has recently secured an opportunity for the supply of carpet to HBOS, the UK’s largest mortgage and savings provider.

HBOS is currently trialling burmatex’s lateral™ product in the office and administrative areas of a number of its branches, with a view to rolling out the contract as part of its regular nationwide maintenance and refurbishment programme.

lateral™ is burmatex’s latest product - a completely new ‘structure bonded™’ carpet, which uses a unique, patent pending, manufacturing technique, to create a three-in-one linear finish with a high quality, ‘tufted’ finish. burmatex has supplied the carpet in shades such as Ink Stone and Lavender Oil to assist HBOS in reinforcing its blue corporate branding, helping the company create uniformity across its branches. lateral™’s high level of durability makes it well suited to the high footfall back office environment.

The carpet has already been successfully fitted in to several HBOS branches including Leeds, Chester and Nottingham and the company is currently collating employee feedback.
