burmatex has the world at its feet

The world is your oyster’ is fast becoming a by-line for Ossett-based burmatex, which is leading the way for Yorkshire businesses seeking to export abroad successfully.

burmatex, one of the UK’s major manufacturers of contract carpets and carpet tiles, has posted a record year for international trade, breaking into new markets as well as developing existing ones - with a thirty per cent increase in export sales in the last nine months alone.

The organisation now exports to more than fifty countries and, in addition to boasting healthy established trade with countries such as USA, France, The Middle East and Italy, has recently expanded its export business into India, Russia, Australia and Spain.
