new look for burmatex's old school favourites
burmatex, one of the UK’s leading manufacturers of contract carpet for the education and local authority sectors, has re-launched its popular velour excel and 5500 luxury ranges as part of a major restyling of the company.
Both velour excel carpet tiles and 5500 luxury two metre wide carpet sheet have been specially designed for the demanding needs of schools, higher education and local authority buildings where durability and affordability are required but luxury and aesthetic design should not be compromised.
Available in 24 attractive eye-catching but practical colour options, both high performance fibre-bonded carpet collections feature a dense pile surface of solution dyed fibres, made from 85:15 polypropylene/nylon, to combine luxury with the practicality of soil resistance and low soil retention – essential for areas of high foot traffic and where desks and chairs are constantly moved.
The combined velour excel and 5500 luxury shade card in the new contemporary corporate style is now available from burmatex, whose in-house design team can provide creative advice to customers to help them plan flooring to enhance the look and appeal of their buildings – new or old. Dozens of schools across the UK have already specified burmatex floor covering, which is also believed to be a unique environmentally-friendly choice because its backing incorporates recycled carpet waste.
