texture takes to the fore
The design team at burmatex is predicting a big year for texture in soft floor coverings in 2007 and has begun the year by unveiling a new look for two of its leading textured carpet ranges.
Grandee, a chunky, textured loop-pile product, has been re-launched with 24 colours in the new range. Made from 100 per cent Invista Antron® Nylon, Grandee is available in a range of vibrant colourways and is suitable for most types of commercial interiors.
Formerly known as Intercity, Loom is a subtly textured contemporary loop pile carpet tile. Selecting Loom carpet tiles allows designers to experiment with colour and texture by changing tile layout to give a patterned effect as well as mixing and matching shades for greater impact.
The new look Loom is available in a mix of 18 naturally inspired colourways and is suitable for boardrooms, offices, meeting rooms, receptions and most commercial interiors.
Both Grandee and Loom had their new looks unveiled at the recent Domotex Exhibition in Hannover and members of the burmatex team reported an excellent response to both products. The commercial and office interior sectors continue to be a strong market for burmatex and the company anticipates further contract wins following these latest re-launches.
