burmatex sharpens public sector focus
burmatex has further strengthened its sales force with the appointment of a new national accounts manager, dedicated to public sector and PFI (Private Finance Initiative) projects.
Clive Speight recently joined the major contract carpet manufacturer, based in West Yorkshire, from resilient flooring company, Tarkett.
The appointment of a national accounts manager dedicated to the public sector forms part of the structuring of the burmatex sales force initiated earlier this year. Clive will join the team headed by Sales Director, Nigel Brook, who took over the reigns following the retirement of Terry King this summer.
His role will be to focus on targeting major new contracts within the public sector and PFIs. He will also be tasked with looking after existing customers in these areas.
Clive said: “There is a definite buzz at burmatex, particularly with the recent changes taking place and the investment in new product ranges. This role gives me the opportunity to be part of these exciting developments and will help the business to both target and deliver for clients in this sector.”
