this is no ordinary red carpet...
burmatex -the UK’s leading innovator in carpet tile design - officially launched its new range of stylish Zip and Code products at this year’s prestigious Roses Awards. The bespoke and visually stunning burmatex red carpet incorporating the new ranges was created for VIP guests to glide across Manchester’s Hilton Hotel foyer, where the five star event was held.
The 30 square metre burmatex red carpet used an artistic mix of award winning Lateral® in scarlet runner, Zip in scarlet ribbon and Code in scarlet fever.
At last year’s Roses Awards, Lateral® scoped its very own commercial product award and it seemed fitting to return with real presence at this year’s event. Lateral® has a patented design and is manufactured with structure-bonded® technology, which uses an unusual mix of three linear textures to striking effect.
Zip and Code are the next generation in structure-bonded® design, which evolved from the technology used to create Lateral®. Zip uses subtle texture and contrasting colour for a striking effect. Code uses contrasting stripes of colour and texture for a stylish defined look. This ‘family’ of products is available in three distinctive colour groups: funky, tonal and acid.
burmatex also sponsored two architectural awards - Architect of the Year and Emerging Architect and awarded Steven Quinlan and Mark Emms respectively.
Becky Taylor, brand manager for burmatex said: “The sponsorship package gave us the opportunity to showcase our new product range in the architectural iconic setting that is Beetham Tower - and in front of an audience comprising the best architects and designers in the North of England and Scotland.”
“The evening was a great success with the red carpet becoming one of the talking points of the night.”
