Leading contract carpet manufacturer, burmatex, has launched a revolutionary product range that will appeal to designers, specifiers and contractors who want a creative, luxurious, durable and affordable soft floorcovering.

lateral™ is a completely new ‘structure bonded™’ carpet from the West Yorkshire-based company. Created using a new, patent pending manufacturing technique, it features a remarkable three-in-one linear finish, with each texture having a different width and pattern to create a high quality, luxurious ‘tufted’ look and feel. However, durability and practicality remain uncompromised, making it the perfect choice for a punishing environment where creativity is still the priority.

Available in 27 attractive stylish shades - from contemporary blues, greys and greens through to vibrant citrus colours which can be used as highlights or in breakout areas - lateral™ comes in both carpet tile, and 2 metre wide sheet.

The lateral™ name and designs, together with the term ‘structure bonded™’ have been trademarked and are patent pending. This new product range will be officially launched at the beginning of 2006 at Domotex, the world trade fair for carpets and floorcoverings, which takes place in Hannover from 14th to 17th January.

lateral™ is the fourth, and most radical, range to be revealed by burmatex since it unveiled its new corporate identity and branding in September 2005.
