structure bonded® carpet tiles at Inverclyde Council in Greenock
This bright, modern installation at Inverclyde Council uses the burmatex® structure bonded® carpet tile ranges of lateral®, zip and code. The expansive colour options and complementary product ranges offer a simple way to introduce elements of colour and design in a hardwearing finish.
Within the main office, a quarter turned background of zip steel cable is interspersed with detail, using multiple colours of lateral® in two highlight greys (diamond dust and carbon steel) and two blues (blue monday and turquoise mountain). These contrasts work to break up the large, open office into functional segments, creating islands of colour and different accent bars.
Entrance ways and corridors have adopted a simple quarter turn layout, using a random distribution of lateral® blue monday, turquoise mountain and carbon steel with a striking impact – while stairways feature a complementary shade of code metal shock. The blue and grey scheme is continued throughout the building, with the lateral®, zip and code ranges offering harmonious colour palettes.
With their unique structure these ranges introduce a textured appearance while maintaining the exceptionally hardwearing, BREEAM A and A+ rated burmatex® standard.
