snowfall® is a soft organic design with a contemporary trend-led palette.

Inspired by undulating patterns formed through falling snow and the shadows created by this. This should set an image in your mind on what the design of snowfall® will look like.

The Design

The design of snowfall® is a soft organic all over design and adds a cosy, cocooning and comforting feel to any commercial environment.

The Colour Palette

The colour palette of snowfall® is trend led, fresh & contemporary. It complies of a curation of 16 colours, offering a variety of colour schemes for all commercial spaces.

The positivity of the palette travels from the core neutrals to the luminous soft pastels.

In this blog post we will look at overall colour trends we spotted at Clerkenwell Design Week this year, once again a fantastic showcase of current and upcoming designs, concepts and colour stories.

Ochre, Yellow, Sage

Warm & earthy ochre yellow, often alongside muted green tones

Greens

Vibrant, invigorating kelly green, mossy & deep forest green, peaches & oranges often used as an accent

Reds, Peaches, Coral, Clay

Pantone COTY for the past two years was prevalent all over the show, peach tones as well as vibrant reds & pinks could be seen across most product categories

Navy, Lilacs, Sky Blue

Appearing in deep and trustful navy tones, as well as lilac toned blue and a punchy bright sky blue, teal and marine blues also featured

We are excited to introduce our newly revitalised balance collection®!

This update for 2024, with new designs and colours, breaths fresh life into an ever popular product. The collection comprises of three designs; balance grid®, balance ratio® and balance scale®. The cohesive colour palette of 16 ties them together, allowing for a multitude of creative floor layouts. The collection highlights the need we all have for a balance of nature and urban in our busy lives, they can exist side by side.

In this post, we will look at each design individually as well as collectively, to give you inspiration and ideas on how to use the balance collection® from burmatex®.

Created to mimic the strong lines seen in high rise skyscrapers and echo the man made elements of a modern city. It is a classic design which can work alone or be paired with the other two designs in the collection; balance

The relaunch of our tivoli®  range in 2024 has also seen a refreshing update to our tivoli mist®  palette. This flexible design offers the opportunity to create soft transitions between different colours within the tivoli®  palette or a sleek allover pattern that mists from one colour to another.

This update to the palette provides the option to move from some of our core grey colours (our very popular dominica dawn and aruba dusk) into bright and invigorating colours from our tivoli® palette.

We are delighted to have seen a successful refresh of one of our most long-standing and well-known ranges – tivoli®.

This enduring low level loop collection has seen many refreshes over it’s time and our latest palette, launched in 2024, has incorporated new on-trend warm neutrals and browns – as well as offering more pastel brights and developing more core colours that will stand the test of time in any space.

Further to this improvement of the colour palette, we have also built upon the environmental credentials to the range, now made with EqoBalance® sustainable yarn and our unique BioBase® recycled backing, tivoli® is low carbon.

Comprised of tivoli® and tivoli® multiline, paired with the coordinated colour palette of 40 and choice of tile and plank – the opportunities for creative floor design are endless
