First Friday Flooring Favourites

Inspiration can come from almost anywhere and today we are finding it in the current seasonal change; the bittersweet ending of summertime. Cooler days, darker nights and a chill in the air lean us naturally to more muted colours and pairings. This seasonal switch takes us from bright sunny colours to colder, moodier tones. Linking some of our own imagery to multi level loop pile products below has given us some new ideas to take forward.

Despite restrictions over the past year, we as a design team have still managed to get out and about, finding inspiration wherever we go!  Lots of local walks has allowed us to appreciate our surroundings and take inspiration from the smaller things. This design doesn’t join over the edges of the tiles used here, but the overall look is still random and flowing

The texture of the orange lichen on the surface of the rocks is echoed in the infinity. The random breaks in the rocks are acknowledged in the osaka pattern.

Did you know that our offices used to be squash courts?! One of them remains (almost) untouched.. The fallen blossom creates its own natural red marker which lines the roadside.
