arctic® 2026

This April, we launched the newly refreshed palette of one of our proudest and most successful multi-level loop ranges - arctic®. This refreshed 12-colour palette contains x5 new colours and offers a crisp & refreshing update to the original launched in 2021
Made using Universal Fibers® ground-breaking Thrive® matter yarn, the world’s first carbon negative recycled yarn, and our unique BioBase® recycled backing, arctic® is carbon neutral.
Inspired by the icy cool of this northern region, the palette retains its trustworthy grey tones; norse grey, cool storm, glacial grey.

These cool hues are now complimented by warmer tones to bring balance to the cold in the palette – with the introduction of drift wood & snow fox, these colours provide warmer neutrals and follow more recent commercial colour trends.

The injection of a brighter contrasted black from dark horizon is inspired by the polar night winter experienced in the northern hemisphere, with months of darkness interrupted by the first sunrise – showcased in our new dusky pink colour – first light.

malmo coast offers a soft, coastal-inspired neutral green. Offering a calming colour to the palette which pairs beautifully with either warm bases such as snow fox or oslo fog, or cooler neutral bases like glacial grey and hail stone.

The announcement of Pantone’s Colour of the year for 2026 as Cloud Dancer, fed into our palette development as always – the trend for bright, white colours to refresh spaces with crisp, clean colours continues in the new arctic® palette, with accent colours which provide pure, clean brightness – as well of core bases we know & love.

Each colour of arctic® is also available as a plank, allowing for more intricate colour pairings & layouts as well as paired-back schemes that celebrate the use of planks all over.
Photographed alongside Gresham Office Furniture, arctic® works in commercial spaces alongside equally well-designed products within a space. Head to our product page to find out more.
