COMBINING PLANK AND TILE

Following on from the post ‘Carpet Plank Installation Options’ on 23.02.2016, in which some of the different installation options for burmatex® carpet plank were visualised, we wanted to share some of the ways in which you can use burmatex® carpet plank and tile together in one floor design. As much as burmatex® carpet planks look great on their own, they have been designed so they can easily be used together with our tiles and therefore we want to share some of the great installation options that we have put together in our studio.

When we start a photo shoot of new product photography (as we did with the balance echo and tivoli carpet planks) we start with a plan. However, it is inevitable that when you get a group of creative individuals together in a photo studio, with floor tiles of different shapes and colours, a one week photo shoot quickly turns into a two week photo shoot. The variety of patterns that you can create by mixing the plank and tile is vast, but the following are a few ideas to start with.
