OSAKA – MULTILEVEL LOOP PRODUCT LAUNCH

In this post, we are detailing one of our newest carpet tile collections, osaka. The range was launched earlier this month and is heavily inspired by a trip one of our designers took to Japan. Japan is an exotic culture clash of a country, like no other place in the world. It is full of interesting and inspiring juxtapositions; new and old, warm and cool, urban and natural.

osaka is a collection full of contrasts that work seamlessly together; geometric and inspired by the traditional practise of origami, at the same time as being organic and reminiscent of a forest floor.

The design’s pattern (originally from a map of Osaka) can be interpreted in a multitude of ways; authentic marks made with sumi ink, folded and scrunched paper, canopies of trees...

The abstract nature of the design, teamed with a diverse colour palette of 12, allows it to be both soft and strong, expertly working with any modern interior space.
