COLOUR FOCUS – BLUE

In this post we are looking at the colour blue and it's rise in popularity since 2020.

Classic Blue was forecast as the Pantone colour of the year in 2020 and blue has remained current throughout 2021 and in to 2022. It has connotations of nature (the sea, the sky), purity and coolness. Blue can be paired with warm or cool tones, making it an easy colour to work with.

Some of our most popular and eye catching installations use blue; almost every collection we design has a blue, if not two! It is a staple for flooring and provides a 'neutral' backdrop for a space that is different from grey and beige. It works throughout the whole spectrum, from light to dark and effortlessly creates a calming area.
