LAYOUT IDEAS USING TIVOLI CARPET TILES AND PLANKS
In the summer of 2019, the design team at Burmatex launched an updated version of the Tivoli range. The Tivoli collection features four designs (tivoli, online, multiline, mist) and is available in both carpet tiles and planks. This blog post will be looking at some ideas for layouts using this expansive collection.
For colour references, we have used colour stories from the latest Pantone View magazine, you can see about these colour pairings in our previous post here.
-
By using neutral grey tones in Tivoli and Tivoli mist, you can softly mark out walkways and zones.
-
This abstract square design could easily be repeated over a large floor space for maximum visual effect.
-
Tivoli mist is a subtle design, but can become bold and fun! Just mix it with some of the more of the more vibrant colours in the Tivoli collection.
-
A herringbone installation using planks is always a popular option for a modern interior space. Using this blue and grey colour combination, in a random sequence adds even more interest to an already visually stunning floor.
-
Tivoli mist is a great product for fading from one colour to another, like we have demonstrated in the above scheme; fading from purple to grey across the floor.
-
Cut tiles can add depth and interest to your flooring scheme. In this plan we have used half cut tiles of haiti haze to add some interest to the middle feature zone, as well as cutting tiles diagonally when used in the corners of the Tivoli mist border.
