Storthes Hall refurbishment with carpet planks
It has been some time ago when we introduced carpet planks to our product range offering. Carpet planks were very well welcomed on the market and we have quite a few installations already in place.
We can now share few images of the plank setting in a recently refurbished Storthes Hall near Huddersfield. Storthes Hall is a student accommodation complex serving Huddersfield University. Burmatex® tivoli carpet planks with lime colour splash of lateral® carpet tiles were installed in the common areas where student can spend their free time and just hang out.
It took just 3 tivoli carpet planks colours – antigua steel, dominica dawn and multiline melanesia grey to create a fashionable looking space. The random drop layout laid down alongside the room creates the impression of a long open space interior.
The soft grey design perfectly matches the modern furniture and wall coverings creating calm environment. Addition of bold and bright lateral® lime street carpet tiles cut to oval shapes makes the floor funky, more appealing to young students and even emphasize the exterior surroundings with green trees popping through large windows.
